TULSA, Okla.-SpaceCom Systems has formed an alliance with Redsat S.A. of Mexico and TeleComm de Mexico to market its FM Cubed satellite transmission technology and equipment in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and parts of South America.
The new service called InfoSat Plus, will provide point-to-multipoint satellite distribution of audio and data services via the Solidaridad satellite, the company said.
Redsat will oversee the marketing activities of the new service and supply equipment to companies based in Latin America while SpaceCom will market the service to U.S.-based companies. Transponder management and uplinking services will be provided by TeleComm de Mexico.
