BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.-Motorola Inc.’s Paging Products Group announced West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Pager One Inc. has introduced a FLEX high-speed paging system that it said gives pager users more reliable service and increased battery life than any local paging system currently available in the Florida market. Through the use of Motorola’s FLEX technology, Pager One’s new system will deliver paging messages almost five times as fast as currently available protocols, Motorola said. Pager One offers FLEX paging services in Georgia, Florida and North and South Carolina.
