DALLAS-PageMart Inc. said it is offering subscribers the ability to receive wireless e-mail messages from anywhere in the world.
PageMart’s new universal e-mail gateway, PCS Enterprise Connection, accepts the various aliases and addressing formats used by different e-mail systems and allows senders to launch a wireless message directly from the Internet, X.400 networks and most major e-mail applications.
The new service is an integral component of PageMart’s Software Developers Program, the company said. The program provides corporations the technical assistance needed to integrate advanced one-way paging services into their existing computing environments and functions as the direct integration pathway for emerging narrowband personal communications services.
