NOIKIA INKS PACT TO SUPPLY GSM EQUIPMENT TO CHINA

ESPOO, Finland-Nokia Telecommunications Corp. will supply Global System for Mobile communications-based digital cellular equipment in the Fujian province of China.

Under a contract valued at more than $20 million, Nokia will deliver infrastructure equipment and an operations and maintenance center to the Fujian Posts and Telecommunications Administration.

Coverage will include Fuzhou, Quanzhou and Xiamen.
