Airtel introduces online self care for prepaid customers

Are you a prepaid mobile user wishing you had a one-stop online solution to access and manage your account? Bharti Airtel hopes so.

Bharti Airtel launched what it claims is India’s first online self-care services for its prepaid mobile customers across the country. The service is designed to allow Airtel’s prepaid customers to log onto www.airtel.in to access and manage their mobile accounts.

Airtel claims the service, dubbed “Prepaid My Account,” is a secure way for customers to access a host of features, including checking their balance, recharging, starting/stopping VAS services, provisioning 3G, raising and tracking service requests and viewing last five recharge details.

Airtel customers can visit the self-care website to receive and activate customized offers on “my airtel, my offer” (MAMO), view tariff & top up options and request an itemized bill.
