SUNNYVALE, Calif.-Spreadtrum announced its Spreadtrum GSM/GPRS module, SM5100, has achieved full type approval (FTA) certification and is now in volume production with multiple designs.
The module offers wireless voice communication and high-speed data transmission and features a small form factor, making it ideal for handsets and personal digital assistants. With its module, Spreadtrum provides customers with product design support, product integration, software development, validation and field testing and post-design production.
