ART acquires licenses from Bachow

BELLEVUE, Wash.-Advanced Radio Telecom Corp., a broadband wireless Internet Protocol service provider, entered a definitive agreement with Bachow Communications Inc. to acquire 39 GHz licenses in 14 markets covering a population of approximately 37 million people.

ART will issue 2.2 million common shares as consideration for the licenses and expects the transaction to close in the second half of this year.
