Motorola is making a play for feature phone users who are finally ready to upgrade to a smartphone. It’s ad campaign points out that smart phones have not always come at smart prices, and says that now that’s changing. Motorola’s new Moto E is a $129 smartphone — that’s $129 off contract. Motorola’s flagship, the customizable Moto X, sells for a steep $400 off contract, but it also offers the Moto G in the midrange. Today Motorola said that a new LTE version of the Moto G will sell for $219 off contract. Motorola Mobility has been part of Google for the last two years, but Google is in the process of selling Motorola to Lenovo.
