BARCELONA, Spain— LG Electronics Co. Ltd.’s Optimus 3-D mobile phone takes a little getting used to, reports RCR Unplugged Editor Sylvie Barak from the show floor during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, last month.
Depending on the angle the user is holding the phone at, some of the 3-D images are disorienting. However, if the user is looking straight at the camera, the 3-D images pop out. The camera on the phone shoots in 3-D, and includes preloaded games and apps, YouTube, and a Gallery, and video applications, among other things.
