VIDEO @ CES: Novatel Wireless shows off MiFi

LAS VEGAS—During the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show, we managed to plant ourselves at the Showstoppers media event to talk to a few industry players about their products, announcements and the show in general. We sat down with a few of these professionals to find out more about their specific devices and services. Jon Driscoll, Novatel Wireless Inc.’s VP of global product management, sat down to show us MiFi, a new wireless modem that allows about five people in a 30-foot radius to connect to Wi-Fi working through a 3G connection as backhaul. Driscoll told us more about the product and let us take a closer look. Over the course of the next few days we will post more video interviews with players including Microsoft and others.
