EMERYVILLE, Calif.-Geoworks Corp. said it will shut down its United Kingdom business in order to minimize its liabilities and to satisfy its outstanding obligations, and will sell the business to Teleca Ltd. for $500,000.
Geoworks offers software design and engineering services to the mobile and handheld device industry.
