Sprint Nextel introduces new Samsung CDMA phones


SHAWNEE MISSION, Kan.-Sprint Nextel Corp. introduced two new phones from Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to sell over the carrier’s CDMA network.

Samsung’s A560 features a speakerphone and voice-activated dialing and will sell for $170 at Sprint stores and Best Buy. Samsung’s PM-A840 features an integrated digital camera, speakerphone and voice-recognition technology and will sell for $80 with a service agreement.

Along with Sanyo Corp., Samsung is one of Sprint’s main handset suppliers.
