CANNES, France-Nokia Corp. said its 6650 WCDMA-based third-generation phone was on track for first-half 2003 deliveries and that shipments of 10,000 test phones began last October to both operators and infrastructure vendors.
Nokia also said it will trial its EDGE system capabilities in 15 commercial networks during the first half of this year and that it plans to have EDGE as a standard feature on most of its GPRS handsets beginning in the second half of the year.
