NORCROSS, Ga.-Ameritel Communications Inc. plans to expand its cellular services coverage to include an additional population of 80 million, bringing to more than 200 million the total population covered, announced its parent company, USCI Inc.
The expansion adds more than 130 metropolitan and rural statistical areas, increasing its overall cellular coverage to a combined 330 MSAs and RSAs.
The expansion, expected to be completed in 45 days, includes areas of California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Puerto Rico.
