NOKIA ENTERS CONTRACT WITH NEW WORLD PCS

NEW YORK-Nokia Corp. said it signed a contract with New World PCS Ltd. to further expand
the Global System for Mobile communications 1800 network in Hong Kong SAR. The agreement includes the supply
of Nokia’s High Speed Circuit Switched Data solution, enabling the introduction of enhanced mobile data services in
the network.

Nokia said it also will deliver its mobile switching center, home location register, base station
controllers, base stations, as well as an upgrade to existing network elements.

NWPCS is part of the New World
Telephone Group in Hong Kong.
