RIM is showing off yet another sneak peek of its BlackBerry 6 operating system today, releasing a YouTube video monday filled with tons of tweetery and far too much Facebook for a traditionally enterprise phone.
Obviously catering to a younger more consumery market, RIM has revamped the Blackberry home screen and reckons it has made the entire “mobile experience” more “fun and approachable,” whilst remaining “extremely powerful.”
Key to this fun filled revamp of the Blackberry OS is a redesigned home screen, universal search, context-sensitive pop-up menus, an improved Browser powered by WebKit and new applications like Social Feeds (which apparently integrates all one’s news and social networks into one destination).
Blackberry also seems rather proud of its “new fluid user interface” – enough to make even the toughest amongst you a bit seasick.
