HOLTSVILLE, N.Y.-Symbol Technologies Inc. announced it has proposed an offering of $250 million of common stock in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Symbol said the proceeds will be used to repay its borrowings under a short-term credit facility it entered in connection with its recent acquisition of Matrics Inc.
Earlier this week, Proxim Corp. agreed to pay Symbol $22.75 million to settle its patent dispute with the company.
