BlackBerry Passport hits the market (RCR Mobile Minute)

Presidents and professionals were addicted to their BlackBerries for years, until most of them gave up BlackBerry for a different kind of fruit. Now BlackBerry is back with its new Passport — a smartphone with the same dimensions as a U.S. Passport.
The Passport’s most striking feature is its square screen, which The Wall Street Journal cleverly compares to a slice of American cheese. But the slice of American culture that was BlackBerry may be one for the history books. Even with an innovative design, a long battery life, and a $600 off-contract price, the Passport may have a very hard time competing with the new larger-screen iPhones, even in the enterprise.
