Pro Football Weekly is using the NFL playoffs as a stage to promote its new mobile site.
The 42-year-old publication launched http://m.profootballweekly.com, a wireless version of its online destination that features NFL headlines, scores, game previews and analysis for fantasy football players. The mobile site also features content from Pro Football Weekly blogs focusing on the upcoming Super Bowl, betting information and the draft.
Crisp Wireless, a New York-based outfit, powers the mobile site and will provide wireless serving, campaign management and supplemental ad-sales support. Crisp powers more than 200 other sites from 45 media companies including brands such as Time Mobile, NBC Sports, Perez Hilton and USA Today.
“With the launch of our new mobile site, football fans can now get PFS’s breaking news, analysis and insight anytime and anywhere they want,” said Hub Arkush, publisher and editor of Pro Football Weekly.
