Birdview Technologies unveiled a WAP-based application that allows real estate agents to access details about properties on the market from their cellphones.
The offering delivers information such as price and square footage to users who log on and type in an MLS number of a home on their handset. The application is available to all clients of Birdview, an Illinois-based firm that develops and licenses Internet-based software for the real-estate industry.
“In today’s more challenging market, our clients can dramatically improve their competitive standing with innovative technologies that position them to maintain a strong business in all market conditions,” said Birdview President Bedros Bedrosian. “One-third of mankind has access to the Internet through a mobile device. That’s twice as many as those connected through PCs.”
