SCHAUMBURG, Ill.-Canadian broadband wireless service provider Barrett Xplore selected Motorola Inc. to deploy a wireless broadband network in cities throughout Canada.
The contract’s initial term is three years, but the agreement allows for the contract to be extended through 2009 if sales targets are met, said the companies. If the contract is extended, it could be valued at up to $53 million.
