Verizon quarterly dividend to remain unchanged

NEW YORK-Verizon Communications Inc. announced a quarterly dividend of 39 cents per outstanding share, unchanged from the previous quarter, payable Feb. 2, 2004, to shareowners of record at the close of business Jan. 9. The company has approximately 2.7 million shareowners and approximately 2.8 billion shares of common stock outstanding.
