Nokia gets contract with Telestet, Greece

HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. said it has signed an agreement to supply wideband CDMA equipment to Greek operator Telestet.

Nokia also said it has already started providing core and radio-access network equipment for the network scheduled to launch commercial activities by the end of 2003.

The Finnish vendor will also provide support in “project management, implementation and integration for efficient network ramp-up as well as a wide range of care services, including training, software maintenance and emergency services, to help maintain the competitiveness of the network,” said the Nokia.
