HANNOVER, Germany-Nortel Networks issued separate announcements with two carriers, T-Mobile International and MmO2.
T-Mobile selected the Brampton-Ontario-based vendor as a preferred supplier to deliver GPRS across it main markets in Europe, including Germany and the United Kingdom.
Under the motto “O2 can do,” wireless service provider MmO2 will use Nortel’s gear for its live UMTS demonstration at the electronics show CeBIT.
