MISSISAUGA, Ontario—Wireless security solutions provider Certicom said Texas Instruments has licensed its products for TI’s OMAP platform for handsets, personal digital assistants and advanced mobile Internet appliances.
“Both carriers and users of 2.5 and 3G mobile devices powered by OMAP processors will benefit from the added voice and data security created through the cooperation of IT with leading security developers like Certicom,” said David Potts, worldwide applications director for TI’s OMAP platform.
