HANOVER, Germany—Psion Teklogix announced it will partner with Option to develop drivers for the GlobeTrotter Universal tri-band GSM/GPRS PC-card radio so they can be integrated into devices in the Psion mobile computing portfolio.
“With this partnership, we will upgrade our extensive product range and consolidate our position as a leading provider of mobile computing devices with over 25 years of experience in the market,” said Mike March, director of mobile computing at Psion Teklogix. “We are extremely excited at this opportunity to enhance our product portfolio by answering our customers’ demand for wide-area network, or WAN-enabled mobile computing.”
Psion Teklogix said it will allow the GlobeTrotter card to operate on its entire mobile computing product range and will offer a range of radio cards customized for individual market needs of Psion customers.
