Cape Town implements TETRA network

CAPE TOWN, South Africa—Motorola said Cape Town, South Africa, has implemented the country’s first digital two-way radio infrastructure. The 55 million rand (US$4.8 million) Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) network was installed by Alcom using Motorola infrastructure.
