SAN DIEGO, United States—Qualcomm said it has signed CDMA subscriber unit and infrastructure agreements with 11 more Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturers. The number of such licenses adds up to 17, according to Qualcomm.
Under the deal, the manufacturers will pay royalties to develop, manufacture and sell cdmaOne and third-generation (3G) cdma2000 1x/1xEV-DO subscriber units or infrastructure equipment.
