LightSurf, Yahoo Japan team for mobile auctions site

TOKYO—LightSurf Technologies announced it teamed with Yahoo! Japan to allow Japanese wireless users to download and view pictures of items up for auction on Yahoo’s Mobile Auctions site.

LightSurf’s service works through the company’s eSwitch technology, which customizes Web site pictures for download onto wireless devices.
