TOKYO-Texas Instruments said it is rolling out a family of digital-to-analog converters that extend battery life for consumer audio applications in mobile phones, personal digital assistants and other wireless devices.
“They are multifunctional and capable of mixing the voice input with the DAC output for playback, reducing component count and cost for the end product, as well as shrinking the mounting footprint,” said TI in a statement.
