HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. signed a deal to deliver a $50 million GSM network expansion in the southern and eastern parts of Venezuela.
The contract, signed with Venezuela-based Digicel, will allow Nokia to supply its high-capacity mobile switching equipment and base station controllers and will increase its coverage to 75 percent in the region.
