SAN FRANCISCO-The Real Access Alliance said it will unveil its new model licensing agreement at the Broadband Building and Commerce Conference in San Francisco on Feb. 23.
The Federal Communications Commission asked the Alliance last October to develop the agreement rather than impose mandatory access requirements requested by the telecommunications industry.
“This agreement is an important tool for property professionals as they seek to provide access while meeting obligations to safeguard tenants’ persons and property,” said Gerry Lederer, vice president of government and industry affairs for the Building Owners and Managers Association. “It will do much to fast forward marketplace negotiations.”
