ATLANTA-World Access Inc. and Star Telecommunications Inc. amended their merger agreement, extending the term of the agreement from Sept. 30 to Dec. 31.
The transaction currently is undergoing Securities and Exchange Commission review and is subject to completion of that review and the approval of the companies’ shareholders.
