DULLES, Va.-Stellar Satellite Communications’ ST2500 subscriber communicator product line has received European Telecommunications Standards Institute approval and is available for use in Europe, according to Orbcomm Global L.P., a global low-earth-orbit satellite data and messaging communications services company.
Stellar SCs are small communicators capable of sending and receiving short data messages from fixed or mobile assets worldwide using Orbcomm’s network of LEO satellites. They are among the first communicators designed to work with the Orbcomm network.
The communicators are designed for applications such as mobile asset tracking, two-way messaging, remote asset monitoring and control, environmental monitoring and asset security.
