LOS ANGELES-Wynd Communications Inc. revealed plans to develop a service enhancement of its two-way paging service for the deaf so customers may receive movie listings for open captioned films, usually difficult to find under normal circumstances.
The service is being developed in conjunction with Tripod Captioned Films, a distributor of first-run films featuring open captioning for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Wynd’s service uses BellSouth Wireless Data L.P.’s Interactive Paging Service and Research In Motion Ltd.’s Inter@ctive Pager 950.
