AT&T MAKES OFFER TO BOMB TRIAL PRESS

DENVER-AT&T Wireless Services Inc. issued a special offer to members of the media covering the Oklahoma City bombing trial, which is set to begin in Denver this week.

The company is offering a Nokia Corp. 2160 cellular phone for $150, a monthly access charge of $16 per phone and airtime rates of 25 cents per minute. No annual contract will be required and no roaming charges will be incurred while the phones are used in the company’s Colorado service area. Long-distance charges apply.

Wireless data transmission equipment and airtime also will be made available with a $50 per month unlimited use plan for Cellular Digital Packet Data service.

AT&T Wireless said the first 300 media respondents with valid press credentials for the trial will receive the special offer.
