Motorola President Rick Osterloch called it the “biggest launch of Moto products ever. We’ve been rebuilding Motorola from the inside out, placing you at the center of everything we do and giving you the power to choose. It’s making an impact on our industry.”

He said the company’s sales have increased 118% since last year.

Both phones run off of the Android 5.1.1 operating system and have a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera . The Moto X Style features a 5.7-inch quad-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 1.8GHz hexa-core processor and 3 GB of RAM. The Moto X Play is equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 2 GB of RAM.

Motorola, formerly part of Google, is currently a part of Chinese electronics manufacturer Lenovo.
