The wearables market is getting more playful with the release of the Moff Band, a smart wrist band aimed at turning anything into a toy.
Moff, the creator of the Moff Band, is showing off the smart bracelet at SXSW 2015. Company representatives stopped by our ATX studios to show us what the Moff Band can do.
The device, one of just a few wearable products targeted directly at kids, allows the operators to choose different sounds on their mobile devices that will then play when they maneuver the wristband. You can choose between an assortment of sounds from sword clashes to animal noises using your smartphone. Categories include ninja, tennis, guitar, cooking, drum, magic wand and baseball with new sounds added regularly that are free for download.

You can also sync two Moff Bands to a single device. It uses a free iOS app and can operate on almost any Apple product. It is not yet available for Android users, but the company said Android compatibility is coming soon.
The product was funded by a Kickstarter campaign last April, reaching its funding goal in just two days. The Moff Band is available on Amazon for $55.
