Galtronics, Tecore, Sequent, Valdor, Fujitsu and Bharti Airtel appoint new executives

Tecore, Sequent Software, Valdor Technology International, Fujitsu and Bharti Airtel appointed new executives recently.

Several organization in the telecommunications industry appointed new executives this past week, including Tecore Networks, Sequent Software, Valdor Technology International, Fujitsu and Bharti Airtel.

Baylin Technologies names CFO
Baylin Technologies named Yuval Katzir the company’s new CFO. Before stepping into his new position, Katzir served as corporate financial controller for Galtronics, Baylin’s main subsidiary.

Tecore Networks appoints new VP of sales 
Tecore Networks announced that Howard Sears had joined the company's executive team as VP of sales. Sears has worked in the telecom sector for a number of years, and will spearhead sales efforts in conjunction with the business's North American wireless networks and Intelligent Network Access Controller Managed Access solution. Before joining Tecore, Sears served as CTO of U.S. major accounts at Alcatel-Lucent.

Sequent welcomes new chief revenue officer
Sequent Software announced John Kirst as the company's new chief revenue officer. In his new position, Kirst will oversee global sales, business development and customer success for the company. Kirst worked previously at Threatmetrix as SVP of global field operations, as also has expertise from his days in Silicon Valley.

Valdor makes board of directors appointment
Valdor Technology International appointed Hector Toledo to the company's board of directors. Toledo holds several degrees and has management, sales and marketing experience in several regions, including the United States, Mexico, South America, South Africa and Europe. Valdor Chairman and Director Elston Johnston said Toledo has had a long career in the telecom sector and his experience will help the company grow. Furthermore, his contacts and networking knowledge will open markets for the organization in Mexico, Central and South America.

Fujitsu announces additions to executive team, board of directors
Fujitsu released a list of new appointments within the company, including several changes within its board of directors. The organization welcomed Tatsuo Tomita as its new chairman and director. Tomita previously worked as the group's president and representative director.

Fujitsu also reappointed Hideyuki Saso from his director position to president and representative director.

In addition, the company announced nominations to its board of directors and audit and supervisory board, which are subject to approval at the company's June 23 annual shareholders meeting. Included in these nominations was Michiyoshi Mazuka for senior executive advisor and director; Masami Yamamoto for president and representative director; Masami Fujita for corporate senior EVP and representative director; and Chikafumi Urakawa for corporate EVP and director.

Bharti Airtel adds new managing director
Bharti Airtel recently announced the addition of Teddy Bhullar as the company's managing director of its Rwanda operations, Airtel Rwanda. Previously, Bhullar served as managing director for Airtel Sierra Leone, as well as Airtel Seychelles. The Bharti Airtel operates in 20 countries, including regions of Asia and Africa. In total, Bhullar has 32 years of experience working for a number of different organizations, including Pepsi-Cola, Coca-Cola and Tata Tea. Airtel Africa CEO Christian de Faria said Bhullar's business experience will help further the organization's efforts in Rwanda.
