Alcatel-Lucent has announced new management changes. A new business group – Software, Services & Solutions – has been formed, and will be led by Adolfo Hernandez as its President. Stephen Carter will become President of the EMEA Region. Corporate Strategy will come under the leadership of Jeong Kim, President of Bell Labs. Robert Vrij, President Americas Region, will assume the additional responsibility of the company’s strategic alliances. The Verizon Board of Directors has named Verizon President and COO Lowell C. McAdam as president and chief executive officer of Verizon Communications Inc. Ivan G. According to various news sites AOL Corp’s president of global advertising, Jeff Levick, is reportedly leaving the company. Others also reported to leave AOL include Lauren Hurvitz, head of corporate communications, and Kathy Andreasen, the head of human resources. Due to the shake up Ned Brody will be promoted to chief revenue officer.
