Partnerships: Celcom chooses Motricity solution; Airbiquity partners with Bosch; and more

Motricity said it has been chosen by Celcom, a 3G operator in Maylasia, to provide its mCore Platform so that Celcom’s subscribers can experience a personalized mobile Internet browsing experience. Motricity’s solutions allow Celcom to design, configure, customize and implement personalized mobile data experiences.
Airbiquity and Robert Bosch Car Multimedia announced a partnership to enable connected vehicle services and offerings for Bosch’s in-car multimedia systems. The pair already are working together to deliver an in-car system for a joint customer to provide connected vehicle services in 17 countries in North America, Europe and Russia.
Diversinet Corp. said it won a contract from the U.S. Army’s mCare telehealth-outreach program that works with military members who are recovering from mild traumatic brain injuries and other wounds. The five-year contract, which follows a one-year pilot study, calls for Diversinet to upgrade its MobiSecure Health Platform license. Diversinet expects the contract to generate $390,000 in revenues.
TMNG Global, which provides management consulting and software solutions, said it came to an agreement with a European mobile operator to expand its deployment of its Ascertain platform for the carrier. The agreement calls for the carrier to deploy a third module, the Usage Assurance module, to its existing Ascertain platform. The Ascertain platform is designed to help service providers manage multiple service offerings, intercarrier agreements, content partners and expenses. TMNG also announced that Sprint Nextel has adopted its SmartXchange device recapture service. The service allows wireless providers to target specific devices and customers for collection and reuse of handsets and other electronic devices.
Telefonica Brazil selected Allot Communications as a partner in its “Smart” solution, which is a managed services offering targeted at enterprise customers. Allot offers real-time carrier-class monitoring, reporting and application management solutions for network optimization. The company said its solution allows Telefonica’s customers to optimize their network for business critical applications.
Aptilo Networks said it has been chosen by DiscoveryTel Ghana to provide its Service Management Platform, which is a pre-integrated wireless broadband policy and service control solution for 4G networks. The solution is being deployed through Intracom Telecom, which is building the carrier’s turnkey network.
AT&T said it is working with Interchange Solutions to deliver a mobile customer relationship management and salesforce automation solution. The solution is part of AT&T’s portfolio of solutions that assist businesses in mobilizing their work force. It is available on a variety of devices, including BlackBerry smartphones.
Accel Networks and Sierra Wireless announced a joint marketing agreement to deliver secure cellular connectivity to critical business applications, said the companies. The agreement calls for the companies to combine Accel’s antenna technology and monitoring platforms with Sierra’s intelligent wireless gateways and routers to create a solution for mission-critical applications and enables enterprise customers to expand into areas where wired broadband connections are not available.
