Cricket launches AWS-equipped Razr V3s

Leap Communications International Inc. subsidiary Cricket Communications Inc. added another version of Motorola Inc.’s venerable Razr handset to its lineup with the V3s that is compatible with the carrier’s advanced wireless services spectrum it acquired during the Federal Communication Commission’s Auction 66.
The tri-band device is set to retail for $200. The handset features a blue, spun-metal casing, a VGA camera and Bluetooth.
Cricket currently sells a non-AWS version of the Razr for $180 as well as Motorola’s Razr2 v9m for $380 and the Rokr z6m for $260. The Razr V3s is the fifth AWS-compatible device to be offered by Cricket joining the Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. MyShot and Spex; UTStarcom CDM7126; and a USB modem.
