ATLANTA-Cingular Wireless subscribers can buy a ringtone version of a single by country star Gretchen Wilson before the tune makes its radio debut, the carrier said Friday.
Cingular released a wireless version of “All Jacked Up,” the title track of Wilson’s album that will be released in September. The tune is offered through Cingular Sounds, which launches ringtones of songs before or as they are released to radio stations.
Subscribers can buy the 30-second clip for $2.50 plus usage or data charges. The operator is also sponsoring Wilson’s current tour with Kenny Chesney that kicks off Saturday in Atlanta.
