Telcel to use Access technology

ATLANTA-Mobile content delivery and Internet access technology provider Access announced that Mexican wireless operator Radiomovil Dipsa S.A. de C.V., known as Telcel, will use technologies and services from Access, including its Premium Content Subscription Server (PCSS), to develop its next-generation WAP services.

PCSS allows operators to deploy data services, leverage third-party content, and charge users’ postpaid or prepaid accounts for purchases on 2.5G and 3G networks.

Access and Telcel also plan to reach a commercial agreement with Mobbix S.A. de C.V. under which Mobbix will administer the official content recruitment, training and support program for Telcel.
