Qpass signs carrier software agreements

ATLANTA-Qpass Inc. announced software agreements with Alltel, Cingular Wireless and Triton PCS at this week’s CTIA wireless 2004 show in Atlanta.

Alltel licensed Qpass’ flagship Prosperity Series software to manage the delivery, payment and support of advance services including ring tones, graphics, e-mail and messaging.

Cingular renewed its contract for the Prosperity Series software, which it has been using for three years with its DirectBill service. Qpass said the software has improved the customer experience for Cingular customers purchasing products or service online or wirelessly. The software also supports the integration and management of third-party content providers.

Finally, Triton PCS signed a multi-year agreement for the Service Bureau edition of the Prosperity Series software. Service Bureau allows regional operators to offer applications like ring tones, messaging and games from more than 10,000 pre-integrated applications available from Qpass QuickStart program members.
