HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia will provide Guangdong Mobile Communications Corp. Ltd. (MCC) with its WAP Gateway solution to offer WAP service in China’s Guangdong province.
In addition to the WAP Gateway solution, Nokia will provide services including implementation, systems integration and customized load pressure testing, and care services including software maintenance, help desk, emergency support, health check services, on-site support and training services.
“As one of the biggest WAP Gateway projects we have ever implemented, we know that Guangdong MCC now has the WAP capacity it needs, now and for some time to come,” said David Ho, senior vice president of networks for Nokia China.
