LONDON-Premium messaging company mBlox continued its acquisition spree with the purchase of WCL Wireless Commerce UK Ltd., a premium messaging company in the United Kingdom. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
mBlox previously acquired Swapcom SMS, the French text messaging transmission business of Swapcom, and conducted a merger with MobileSys Inc.
“mBlox’s momentum continues to grow. This is the time of consolidation, and WCL, a quality business whom we have admired for several years, was a great addition to our business,” said Andrew Bud, mBlox’s executive chairman. “This is excellent news for WCL’s clients, offering them more services and geographic coverage from a financially strong provider, whilst maintaining their established relationships with this fine management team.”
