NEW YORK-Psytechnics, San Jose, Calif., is selling its new PESQ Tools for determining the root cause of voice quality problems associated with speech quality, sound levels, radio spectrum or Voice over Internet Protocol networks.
Because the software can identify problems before end-users become aware of them, Psytechnics said network operators can use PESQ Tools to guarantee service level agreements.

“If you can measure network performance, you can optimize it, boost service levels or cut costs on bandwidth you don’t need,” said Mike Hollier, chief technology officer of Psytechnics, a spin-off of Brightstar, the corporate incubator of BTexact Technologies.
