Siemens to cut another 700 jobs

MUNICH, Germany-Siemens AG said it will slash 700 more job in its wireless infrastructure division, revealing deeper troubles in the company and confirming union fears. “We confirm that we are cutting an additional 700 jobs by the end of fiscal 2003,” said a company spokesperson, “It is not possible yet to say if these will be redundancies or natural fluctuations.”
