ISSY-LES-MOULINEAUX, France-Wavecom SA signed a contract with Wonu Telecom Co. Ltd. in South Korea to supply its Wismo Pac P3200 series modules and support their integration into Wonu’s new WGM-1891 GPRS mobile phone.
The phones are to be launched in China in the fourth quarter and will be sold under third-party brand names.
The Wismo Pac 3200 provides GSM/GPRS voice and data functionality and the ability to develop tailored color screens, Wavecom said.
